The following are just a sample of what’s on offer in the sightseeing department. Maybe a visit to the gigantic rocking horse at Gumeracha that stands a whopping 18.3 metres (60 feet) – the height of a six-storey building – and that promotes the local toy factory and a magnificent wildlife park. Alternatively, the Whispering Wall in Williams Town is fascinating. This nine storey bowl-shaped wall is a major drawcard to the area and once held the title of the highest dam wall in Australia. It's hard to believe, but just like magic, whispers from one side of the wall can be heard clearly on the other side nearly 140 metres away. Visitors can hold amazing conversations from one end of this engineering masterpiece to the other side. Watch the look of surprise on the faces of your fellow travellers!
